ឆ្មា: Cats of Cambodia

“ឆ្មា: Cats of Cambodia” is an ethnographic film documenting how animal lovers from around the world transform the lives of abandoned cats in Cambodia.

In Cambodia, many cats are abandoned in monasteries. There the cats are fed human food leading to health problems and early death.

Animal Care Cambodia, a German charity, runs a sterilisation program and offers basic medical care.

Gold-D in Singapore appeals and ships food for the cats. Animal Care Cambodia receives and distributes the food to local feeders reaching at least 350 cats on a daily basis.

With sterilisation, medical care and good quality food, the cat’s lives are transformed.

Premier

We hope to finish the film by Q3 2018. Subject to censorship clearance in Singapore, we will permier the film in Singapore followed by a fund raising screening in Cambodia and othr countries.
